The Lady Knights traveled to Warsaw on Saturday for a match-up of two top ten teams. The Tigers built a double digit lead in the first half and despite the Lady Knights making a couple second half runs they held on to defeat Norwell 69-55 in the varsity game. Vanessa Rosswurm led the way with 28 points and Macie Saalfrank also was in double digits with 15. Ashley Waldman scored 8 and Addie Norris & Alivia Green each added a basket. In the JV contest, Warsaw built a 22 point halftime lead on their way to a 60-38 win. Avery Thornton paced the JV with 12, followed by Ally Graft with 8 and Maggi Neuenschwander with 5. In the Freshman contest, the Knights won 46 to 12. They led 20-10 at the half and used a 17-0 3rd quarter to race out front and never looked back. Kendall Fegley scored 15 and Rilynn Hoopingarner had 14 to pace the team. Elizabeth Mann added 8, Kynnlei Beste had 6 and Leah Randol and Hadie Isch each added 2.
