The Varsity Softball team opened NE8 play at Leo on Monday afternoon. The Knights scored once in the top of the 1st and added 3 runs in the 2nd to take the early 4-0 lead. Leo would answer with single runs in the 3rd and 4th before putting up 4 runs in the th and 3 runs in the 6th to defeat Norwell 9-4. Reese Frauhiger led the offense going 4-4 with an RBI, 2 runs scored and a triple. Kaydance Clark was 2-3, Mia Kurtz 2-2 and Abby Wagner picked up a single. They will be at home against Bellmont on Wednesday at 5:30.
