The Varsity Baseball team squared off against the Bellmont Braves on Monday in the 3A Sectional Championship and rode a fast start to a 15-8 victory. The Knights put up 5 runs in each of the first two frames and added runs in the 3rd, 4th and 7th innings to claim the programs 20th sectional title. Norwell pounded out 17 hits including 3 each from Noah Schamerloh (2 HR's & 3B), Drew Graft (HR), Trey Privett and Logan Cotton. Cayden Cassel also had a multi-hit game. Noah Turk, Schamerloh and Dylan Chism combined for the win on the mound. They will play Bishop Dwenger on Saturday for the Regional Championship.
